TempShield™ Double Bubble Foil is our top-of-the-line Reflective Insulation, and is available in 500 Sq. Ft. Rolls. Widths: 4'. TempShield™ Double Bubble Foil is two layers of 3/16" barrier bubble film laminated between two layers of foil. TempShield™ Double Bubble Foil is designed to be used for for water heater, metal and commercial buildings, stud walls, roofing systems, basements, and crawl spaces when reflectivity and higher R factors are required. TempShield™ Double Bubble Foil Reflective Insulation is designed to be installed in metal and commercial buildings where higher R factors are required.

TempShield™ is used as insulation against radiant heat transfer and can be used to its greatest advantage in instances where radiation is the predominant means of heat transfer. It is the bright aluminum surface of all TempShield™ properties. This happens in two ways:
- TempShield™ is an excellent reflector of all long wave radiant heat that strikes it - reflecting up to 97% of all radiant heat.
- TempShield™ will reradiate only 3% of heat in which it comes in close physical contact, compared with the approximate 90% re-radiation of ordinary building materials, at the same temperature.
