Foil Barrier is a family-owned business that has installed foil radiant barriers since 2004. We began installing the barriers soon after we discovered that they had led to new building codes in many parts of the country, which mandated that they be installed in every home or building.
Foil radiant barriers dramatically reduce energy costs and improve overall comfort in homes and buildings during seasons of extreme temperatures. Unlike regular insulation, which soaks up radiant heat like a sponge, foil barriers reflect the sun’s heat which keeps any building a lot cooler. They also stop radiant heat loss by holding heat in, which is something regular insulation can’t do.

Foil radiant barriers can be applied below rafters or over existing insulation. They do not replace regular insulation; they make it more efficient. Installing the foil radiant barriers is very difficult in existing attics; it can be hot, dirty, and very dangerous. That is why having an excellent contractor and well-trained professional crew is important.
High attics or roofs are not a problem for us. We can do small to extremely large spaces, and we make it our goal to start and complete every residential home in one day. We have the ability of doing up to 8,000 square feet per day.

Our foil is Industrial strength with a tensile strength of over 80 lbs.
The foil we use is made from pure aluminum and polyethylene, and both materials have a life expectancy longer than any home. This enables us to offer a one-time installation with no maintenance required, and life time guarantee on workmanship and residential applications.
