Joe Perry - Owner and President Foil Barrier Insulation
Foil Barrier is a family owned business that has installed foil Radiant Barrier since 2004. We began installing Radiant Barrier after the huge difference it made in our home and discovered that the effectiveness of Radiant Barrier Foil had led to new building codes in many parts of the country, which mandated Foil Radiant Barrier.
We are an A Rated Accredited Business with Dallas BBB,
member of RIMA-I (Reflective Industry Manufactures Association International),
Atmos Energy Service Provider, Green Builders North Texas, and other organizations
both at a local and national level.
I am a six time award winner from the Reflective Industry Manufacturers Association International. The ONLY Dallas/Fort Worth based contractor that attends regular seminars and meetings held by RIMA-I and ASTM for important updates regarding the proper use and installation of Radiant Barrier Products. I also attend ASTM committee meetings for C16 for Thermal Insulation.
I also have been fortunate to attend informational meetings
with guest speakers such as Dr. William Miller of Oak Ridge National Laboratories;
he formerly chaired SPRI’s reflectance committee, Mark LaFrance manager for
Building Envelope and Windows R&D programs at the Department of Energy in
the Office of Building Technology, and many other qualified high level experts
in the area of Reflective Technology.
